Minimum quantities

Our production starts from just 120 units. A particularly attractive price-performance ratio is achieved from an order of 600 units and up.

Print costs & segments

Thanks to state-of-the-art print technology, the price is independent of the number of motifs across the 8 segments. A price reduction is possible if not all segments are printed.

File formats

Please send us your artwork preferably as a vector graphic (e.g. EPS) or as a print-ready PDF. Ideally, your design should be laid out in the umbrella shape (octagon / 8 segments). Suitable templates are available for download below.

Working with templates

The octagon can be used as a guide layer in your design. For production we require:

• the octagon as a preview file
• and your final print file without guide lines

Dimensions & bleed

For a 1:1 design of a single segment, the standard dimensions are approx. 40 cm width × 54 cm height. Please be sure to include a 1 cm bleed at the bottom edge.

Image resolution

Pixel graphics (e.g. JPG or PNG) require a minimum format of 110 × 110 cm at at least 150 dpi for a sharp result. Insufficient resolutions will lead to visible pixelation in the final product.

Image orientation

For individual segments, please use portrait formats where possible. Landscape images must be heavily cropped to fit into the triangular wedge shape.

Large files

Files over 10 MB can be sent to us easily and without registration, e.g. via WeTransfer.

Printing across the entire canopy

With continuous motifs spanning all segments, minimal offsets in the millimetre range may occur for production-related reasons.

Colour space (important)

Please prepare your artwork strictly in the CMYK colour mode. Note: screens display in RGB (light colours) whereas printing uses CMYK (pigment colours) — minor colour variations are therefore technically possible. Extreme spot colours (e.g. real gold or metallic shades) can only be "simulated" in four-colour printing and can only be approximated in photo printing.

Production process

Once technical and final order details are confirmed, you will receive a pre-print proof for production approval within approx. 15 days.
