5. Spinning – Creating the Yarn
Fine filaments are twisted and wound into stable polyester yarn. Only now does the material resemble what you'd find in a textile factory: large yarn spools from which fabrics are later woven. Depending on desired quality and application, different yarn strengths can be produced.

The yarn is woven into actual umbrella fabric on modern looms. This is followed by additional finishing steps:
